Benchmarking for Pro-Poor Water Services Provision (2009 – 2015)

Descrição: The project idea is to adapt and apply the benchmarking tool to the achievement of MDG targets 10 and 11, more specifically to use it to promote the accelerated expansion of drinking water supply and sanitation services to the urban and peri-urban poor. The goal of the research project is to propose improvements to the existing benchmarking tools to allow utilities and others to develop a much stronger focus on service provision to the poor and to propose incentive systems for use by operators, regulators, communities, and governments to promote this through the effective use of these benchmarking tools.
